Comicon!

I think Lainee said it all in her previous post. Comicon was amazing as expected, much fangirling was done, and we both spent way too much money. (No, I did NOT come home with six Pop Funkos... *shifty eyes*)
Also, perhaps the most important thing.. WE MET JASON ISAACS!!!!!!
Seriously though. My most favourite actor in the whole world. And I was wearing my Colonel William Tavington costume. He couldn't believe that I'd made it myself.

(Seriously, I'm still in shock that we ACTUALLY MET HIM.)

We've definitely got our work cut out for us, as we've already started work on costumes for next year, since we're got about 15 to make. Look for new posts coming soon regarding those, and also for posts about Salt Lake City Comicon, in the end of September!

PCC 2015

Hi all,

I realize its been far too long since I've posted and as I am sitting in a hotel room with literally nothing to do I thought I'd write and let you all know what we've been up to.

Phoenix Comicon was an absolute blast. We were far more organized than last year and so we had a better experience. Much shopping and fangirling was done. This year we met and got autographs from Barry Bostwick, Patricia Quinn, Karl Urban, Summer Glau, and Jason Isaacs (ahhhhhhh!).
As a huge Firefly fan meeting Summer Glau was probably the best part (almost as great as meeting Nathan Fillion last year). Overall, it was pretty fantastic. This year our good friends Jesse and Luke joined us. They also had some pretty great costumes as well (if I do say so myself).

Michelle as Cheshire Cat, Jesse as the Mad Hatter, Lainee as Alice

 Waiting to meet Jason Isaacs

Harley Quinn, Tavington, Harley Quinn and Luke as Beastboy

Wanda Maximoff, Quicksilver, Wolverine, and Percy Jackson

Zatanna and Peter Quill

Like I said, it was a super good time but yet again, I regret not taking more pictures.

Anyway, that's about all for now. I promise we will start posting more over the next couple months as we start making next year's costumes. We have 15+ costumes already planned for us and several of our friends for next year. We'll be sure to keep you posted about all that.

Thanks for reading,
Lainee

(Just a small sneak peek for next year)
